Our name, “folly” is historically significant and often applied to a small building that appears to have no practical purpose, or the purpose of which appears less important than its striking and unusual design. Our range of products is iconic and every piece we consider is Art and fashion combined. While we are not full blown Anarchists of Interior design, we do strongly believe that the normal boundaries of society need to be pushed. Lets build a design with a unique blend of intellect, humour and childlike fantasy. Sometimes quirky, but always excellent quality from leading European suppliers. Our motivation is realising our customer’s dream.

We operate as House Of Folly FZ-LLC a company registered with the Dubai Creative Cluster Authority. We are based in the Dubai Design District, Dubai’s home for designers, Artists and creative thinkers.
Tarek Zaher - is the chief interior designer and the creative one. He graduated with an Interior design and art history major from the Academia Della Belle Arte in Italy (attending both the Florence and Venice Campuses). His experience is in the field of interior design, but he has a passion for fashion and art. He has Studied fashion design at the University of the Arts, London and Art at the Camberwell School of Art. Events and networking keeps him connected with trends. Because attendance is insufficient, shop windows, world travel and observation builds a picture, often before a trend is clear. Most of all he is not afraid to give negative opinions and is fluent in English, Arabic and Italian.
William Chappell - is the grounded one. He runs the commercial side of the company. A qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience as CFO of both large organisations and start ups. For over 12 years he has been at the forefront of developing the Innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Dubai.
