Paper Napkins- Dot Pattern
In his work as an interior designer, Girard created a number of concepts for restaurants, extending his attention to such details as menu cards, matchboxes, tableware and napkins. The Paper Napkins come in assorted motifs created by Girard for various purposes and selected by Vitra in cooperation with the Girard family.
The Paper Napkins with Dot Pattern by Vitra are paper napkins that are decorated by an unusual pattern from Charles & Ray Eames.
The dot pattern came into being in connection with an exhibition at the Museum of modern Art in New York City. It varies a graphic motif consisting of crosses and circles to a large-scale composition, and has references to Ray Eames' abstract paintings from the 1930s.
